Company Overview: Pathology Group of Louisiana (PGL) is a private medical practice group specializing in anatomic and clinical pathology services. Our team of board-certified pathologists provides comprehensive diagnostic services to hospitals, surgery centers, and clinical laboratories in Southeast Louisiana.

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible pathologists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pathology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and surgery centers.
  • Collaborate with other pathologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • AP/CP board certification or board eligibility.
  • Subspecialty training and/or board certification in Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Cytopathology, Surgical Pathology Fellowship, Gynecologic Pathology, or Gynecologic-Oncology Pathology (subspecialty training and/or fellowship) is desired but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
