Senior Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our team at The Los Angeles County Bar Association - LACBA. As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in our litigation team, working closely with our attorneys to manage complex cases from initiation to completion.
About the RoleThis is a full-time Senior Associate Attorney position that requires a strong background in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in managing litigation cases, preparing and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings, and arguing motions in court.
Key Responsibilities- Manage litigation cases from initiation to completion in state and federal courts and arbitration.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings.
- Argue motions in court and make other court appearances.
- Interface and build relationships with clients.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare for and participate in trials.
- 5-8 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (Top 50 preferred).
- Admission to the California State Bar.

- Billable hour credit for marketing/networking (100 hours/year).
- Billable hour credit for article writing (50 hours/year).

- Fridays are casual days.
$175,000 - $200,000 base salary per year.
Monthly bonus for billable hours above 150 hours/per month.
Annual discretionary bonus.
Origination bonuses ranging between 10% - 20% for clients brought to Firm.
