The Inside Sales Manager is accountable for the advancement and effectiveness of all sales initiatives within the designated region. This role involves overseeing and guiding a sales team, providing strategic direction to achieve optimal profitability and growth aligned with the organization's vision and principles. The manager will formulate plans and tactics to broaden the customer base in the area and play a key role in developing training and educational resources for clients and Sales Associates.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the current inside sales team. Design Short Term Incentive Programs to enhance team motivation. Collaborate with HR to create performance enhancement strategies, including potential staff transitions. Develop an efficient inside sales schedule that prioritizes customer service. Organize the staff reception area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Oversee and manage the Non-Stocked Item (NSI) Process. NSI Process: Sales representatives submit Reorder Requests for non-stocked items, which the manager reviews and approves. Ensure requests are submitted by the end of Thursday to facilitate regional organization. Conduct weekly meetings with Regional Sales Managers every Monday to review NSI requests. Approval decisions will consider customer size, current purchasing volume, item value, and potential profit. Communicate the outcomes of approvals and denials to sales representatives via email. Forward approved requests to the buyer for procurement. Monitor the purchasing process and inform the sales representative upon product arrival. Ensure that all NSI items are shipped the following day.Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in Food Service sales management. Preference for candidates residing within the specified geographic area. Mandatory experience in the Food Service sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Extensive expertise in Relationship Management. Strong comprehension of Food Service customers and market dynamics. Willingness to travel and collaborate with a team of Food Service experts. Proven track record of leadership and the ability to drive a Food Service sales team.#LI-LD1
