Clinical Care Provider

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Provider to join our team at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. As a key member of our health center staff, you will provide high-quality clinical care to our patients, ensuring their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Contraceptive Services: Offer a range of contraceptive methods, including self-administered options and injections.
- Emergency Contraception: Provide emergency contraception to patients in need.
- STI and Genito-Urinary Care: Perform medical assessments and manage basic STI and genito-urinary conditions for all patients.
- Wart Treatment: Provide wart treatment to patients.
- Gender Affirming Care: Offer gender affirming care to patients.
- Premenopausal and Menopausal Services: Provide premenopausal and menopausal services to patients.
- Medical Screening and Interpretation: Review and interpret medical and social histories for all sexual and reproductive health patients.
- Medical Screening Procedures: Perform appropriate medical screening procedures and exams for all sexual and reproductive health patients.
- Laboratory Data Interpretation: Interpret laboratory data and order additional investigations when necessary.
- Clinical Resource: Act as a clinical resource to health center staff, ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to all patients.
- Emergency Situations: Manage emergency situations in the health center.
- Staff Meetings and Productivity: Participate in staff meetings and contribute to achieving health center productivity and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards.
- Center Support Work: Assist in other areas of center support work as required.
- Student and Volunteer Supervision: Precept students and work with/supervise volunteers/interns as applicable.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited FNP or Primary Care PA program for comprehensive primary care centers; graduation from an accredited Women's Health NP or CNM program is acceptable for limited primary care centers.
- License and Certification: Current State license and current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Willingness to Learn: Willingness and ability to learn new skills appropriate to PPMM clinical duties.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service orientation.
- Availability: Available to cover at least one evening clinic per week and one Saturday clinic per month, as needed by center.
- Computer Skills: Current experience using computer and mouse, and experience using a Microsoft Windows-based program.
- Teamwork: Able to work cooperatively as a member of a health care delivery team.
