Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Merit Health Biloxi. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining medical equipment for surgical procedures, following hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patients during pre-operation procedures. You will also perform pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body, and medical equipment, and may be required to transport patients to and from the operating room. This is a full-time position that requires a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, certification to perform CPR, and at least one year of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures
- Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patients during pre-operation procedures
- Performs pre-operation preparations to the patient's skin, body, and medical equipment
- May be required to transport patients to and from the operating room

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Certification to perform CPR
- At least one year of clinical experience in a related field

Merk Health Biloxi is a 153-bed acute care facility, including a Level III Trauma Center located in downtown Biloxi. The six-story facility provides a broad scope of advanced medical technology and services, including all private rooms, 24-hour emergency services, MRI, specialized programs with emphasis on women and children, an oncology program, a cardiology program, imaging centers, and specialty clinics.
