Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, taking radiographs, and assisting radiologists in the detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of disease and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs
  • Position patients under the machine and regulate controls to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Perform x-ray examinations under sterile, surgical conditions
  • Process exposed film using automatic developers or hand tank solutions
  • Provide healthcare customer service to patients, families, and guests of all ages
  • Maintain credentials and skills in multiple modalities
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services while maintaining a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
  • Control and maintain a safe examination and working environment
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized program in Radiological Science and Technology
  • Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
  • BLS certification
  • Registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
