About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lubrication Specialist to join our team at PURIS Proteins. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant's machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lubrication programs to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan
  • Select and apply lubricants, greases, and other materials to meet specific equipment requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address lubrication-related issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records of lubrication activities and equipment maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in lubrication technology
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Machinery Lubrication Technician or Analyst (MLT or MLA) II or STLE certification
  • 5+ years of applicable industrial maintenance experience
  • Knowledge equivalent to two-year Technical School courses in at least one trade
  • Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, switchgear, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to take and give verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to understand and work from complex mechanical and electrical diagrams, drawings, schematics, specifications, and flow diagrams and interpret them to others
  • Ability to complete work assignments correctly and deliver results, in an expeditious and professional manner
  • Good reading, writing, math, and administrative skills
  • Moderate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CMMS
