At St. Mary's Health Care System Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse - Med/Surg RN to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Med/Surg RN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Med/Surg RN will be responsible for assessing patients, developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan. You will interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise and work collaboratively with the Care Team and Support Team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
- Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise.
- Work collaboratively with the Care Team and Support Team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
- Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia.
- Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
- Prior experience in the field is preferred.
