Position Overview:

As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of functionality and user satisfaction. Your expertise in testing methodologies will be essential in identifying and addressing potential issues before they reach our users.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to assess and validate hardware and software systems designed for defense applications.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies and detailed test cases based on system specifications and operational scenarios.
  • Execute test plans and document outcomes, providing clear communication of any defects to the development team for prompt resolution.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to gather and analyze performance data, ensuring accurate reporting for further analysis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with diagnostic instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and data acquisition systems.
  • Proven experience in testing RF systems and developing test strategies for both laboratory and field environments.
  • Familiarity with creating and executing test documentation, including test plans, observations, and incident reports.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data processing techniques.
  • Must possess a Secret clearance and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in coordinating test activities and conducting readiness reviews.
  • Familiarity with Test and Evaluation methodologies and High Power Microwave systems.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and remote equipment control.
  • Ability to work effectively in both laboratory and field settings.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as part of the hiring process.
