We are seeking a highly skilled Colorectal Surgeon to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a member of our department, you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial and well-established general and colorectal practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat various disease processes of the colon, rectum, anal canal, and perianal region both medically and surgically.
- Perform endoscopic procedures to evaluate and diagnose cancer of the intestinal tract, polyps, and inflammatory conditions of the large intestine.
- Contribute to tumor board cancer conference and participate as a cancer committee member.
- MD/DO degree and board certification or eligibility in the American Board of Surgery or the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery.
- License to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and active DEA license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Proven track record of academic achievement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
- Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and effective conflict resolution skills.
- Patient-focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients.
