ACS Critical Care Surgeon Opportunity in SC

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care/Acute Care Surgeon to join our team at Lexington Medical Center in South Carolina. As a Critical Care/Acute Care Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art closed ICU, working closely with our Intensivist team to provide care as a Critical Care Surgeon for the Surgical ICU.
Responsibilities- Practice evidence-based urgent/emergent general surgery and trauma coverage
- Surgeon will work 14 shifts in a 28-day timeframe, rounding on inpatients, new consults, and urgent/emergent cases in the OR
- Collaborate with the Intensivist team to provide care as a Critical Care Surgeon for the Surgical ICU
- Participate in a collaborative General Surgery service line, working with 2 Colorectal Surgeons, 10 General Surgeons, 3 Bariatric Surgeons, 1 Surgical Oncologist, and 1 Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon
- 24/7 PA/NP assistance with running the service
- Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certification
- Compliance with all ACS Mandated Trauma CME Requirements
