Job Overview

Marsh & McLennan Companies is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting with reporting and analysis to senior management, revenue and project analyses, forecasting and budgeting, and month-end financial close. You will also have the opportunity to work on various projects and initiatives that support the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management and stakeholders
  • Perform analysis on key metrics and drivers
  • Analysis, reporting, and exploration of revenue and project-related details
  • Support the month-end financial close process by analyzing interim results
  • Support the analysis of monthly FX gains and losses
  • Support M&A activity from due diligence to financial integration
  • Work with the team and other functions on the annual budget process
  • Leverage our data warehouse and BI tools (such as Tableau) to produce analysis in support of business decisions
  • Support special projects and produce ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Requirements
  • BA or BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting in a multi-national company
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
  • Strong PowerPoint and communication skills to summarize and convey key findings for stakeholders
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization applications
  • Oracle, Smartview, Oracle EPM, and Hyperion Planning preferred

  • Results-oriented finance professional with data-intensive analytical experience in high-paced environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and own process development, while also being able to collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, accounting/financial planning background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a team environment, including willingness to assist other team members and share knowledge
  • Coachable and possesses a strong desire to learn and grow

What We Offer

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings, and other retirement programs, as well as employee assistance programs. The applicable base salary range for this role is $74,000 to $105,000, and the base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
