Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Responsible for leading a team of financial analysts to drive the end-to-end execution and maintenance of the annual budgeting and forecasting, analytical reporting, financial modeling, strategic and operational analysis, and data-warehouse development for Resorts World New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the centralized strategic planning function by recruiting, training, managing, and inspiring a team of financial analysts.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to identify P&A's contribution in advancing the overall strategic interests of the organization.
  • Provide clear guidelines to the analysts for projects by guiding them to a starting point and charting a blueprint that allows them to establish a concrete execution plan.
  • Ensure the integrity of the P&A data-warehouse by developing sufficient technical knowledge to communicate well with the business analyst.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and two years' experience in a Supervisory level position in Financial Planning & Analysis/Management Consulting/Corporate Strategy or Development.
  • Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math or related area with a quantitative emphasis, preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, CMA, CAP or equivalent certification, preferred.
  • Minimum six years' work experience conducting detailed statistical or data analysis.
  • Two years' work experience within the gaming industry with specific knowledge of gaming unique reporting systems.
  • Two years' management level work experience actively supervising direct reports responsible for analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to write queries using standard tools to extract data from relational (SQL) databases.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods, with the ability to build models using retrieved data.
  • Experience building financial models and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts such as discounted cash flow and valuation.
  • Experience with financial statement analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with Operations analysis and associated methodologies.
  • Experience with Marketing analysis and associated statistical techniques.
Salary:

$93,000-$105,000
