Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Manufacturing to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in leading Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) efforts while acting as a key business partner to our Manufacturing Operations.

The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, operational KPIs, and the implementation of processes that support production and supply chain initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, alongside operational data and KPIs.
  • Foster a responsible financial culture across the site, engaging plant leadership through training and support.
  • Lead financial planning processes in collaboration with Manufacturing partners, including Long-Range Planning (LRP), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and Quarterly Forecasts.
  • Develop and manage site-specific budgets in partnership with local leadership teams, ensuring alignment with operational targets.
  • Assist Manufacturing Programs in creating unit cost forecasting models and tracking performance metrics.
  • Support Supply Chain initiatives by contributing to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and demand forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures, maintaining the integrity of the manufacturing general ledger.
  • Implement performance metrics and collaborate with site leadership on continuous improvement projects.
  • Work closely with Corporate FP&A to consolidate budgets and performance data, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support for ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in Managerial/Cost Accounting, preferably within the Aviation or Aerospace sectors.
  • A minimum of 4 years in a Manufacturing Finance role, with a preference for experience in Additive Manufacturing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to develop comprehensive financial models and analyses.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and related policies.
  • Experience with accounting software and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with a preference for NetSuite.
