Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a High-End Commercial Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for independently performing a wide range of general maintenance repairs and ensuring the optimal functioning of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the building HVAC system to ensure efficient operation and tenant comfort.
  • Make schedule and program changes to various functional systems to provide the most effective and efficient building environment.
  • Identify ways to enhance existing systems and collaborate with manufacturing representatives for firmware upgrades or equipment modifications.
  • Maintain routine contact with the Senior Property Manager to monitor budgets and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Order and maintain proper stock for repairs while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Be responsible for all record keeping and equipment logs on a routine basis.
  • Assist in coordinating life safety systems inspections, service, and/or repairs.
  • Investigate and monitor repeat customer-related calls and report them to the property manager.
  • Follow and update planned maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations.
  • Promote energy conservation through proper equipment maintenance, energy management programs, and special lighting initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of commercial maintenance experience, preferably in high-rise/high-end settings.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • EPA license not required, but tech-savviness and excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work on an alternating on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
