Job Summary:

Fastenal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in facilitating the movement of product through our customer site.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices to manage inventory and track shipments.
  • Move and handle product accurately to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Audit and prepare outgoing shipments to customer facilities, maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Participate in activities and programs that promote health, safety, and sustainability objectives, demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility.

Requirements:
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Will to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrate Fastenal's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork, embodying the company's entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50 pounds and may weigh up to 100 pounds, adhering to physical demands of the role.
  • Pass a required drug screen, applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only.
