About Addington Place of Clinton

We are currently seeking a Business Office Manager to become an integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage essential documentation for resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and additional charges.
- Oversee financial controls, including the handling and recording of cash receipts, as well as managing petty cash protocols.
- Maintain daily financial records for operational accounts and conduct monthly bank reconciliations. Supervise the accounts payable process.
- Ensure that department managers accurately assign departmental expenses and maintain necessary supporting documentation.
- Coordinate payroll processing and employee benefits, along with managing insurance payments, real estate taxes, and related reporting obligations.
- Prepare and input journal entries while maintaining relevant sub-schedules for Balance Sheet accounts.
- Review and distribute monthly financial statements to relevant stakeholders.
- Generate management reports as required.
- Maintain organized files for team members, residents, vendors, and financial records in accordance with established policies.
- Engage with residents regarding billing and collection inquiries.
- Oversee the preparation and upkeep of resident files, records, and reports.
- Manage the community's Human Resource functions, ensuring a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
- Supervise payroll and employee documentation, including new hire and change forms.
- Manage recruitment processes using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and oversee job postings. Coordinate scheduling for Concierge team members.
- Establish and manage Health Center residents' private accounts, ensuring compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role, or
- Associate's degree in Accounting with two to three years of relevant experience.
