Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with Series 7/66 certifications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management. Additionally, expertise in succession planning within the financial advisory industry is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients, including retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, tax planning, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and personalized financial advice tailored to individual client needs.
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments and analysis to understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Create customized financial plans and investment strategies aligned with clients' objectives and life stages.
  • Implement investment recommendations and monitor portfolio performance to ensure alignment with clients' goals and risk profiles.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date and relevant financial advice.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as attorneys and accountants, to offer holistic financial solutions to clients.
  • Actively participate in business development activities to expand the client base and grow assets under management.
  • Utilize existing book of business to deepen client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in succession planning within the financial advisory industry, including developing strategies for business continuity and transitioning client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is required.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
  • Prior experience in succession planning within the financial advisory industry is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fiduciary responsibilities in all client interactions.
