Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler 3 to join our team at Topcon Positioning Systems Inc. As a Material Handler 3, you will be responsible for managing inventory, controlling stock levels, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cycle counting and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems, including labeling and tracking of inventory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve processes
  • Assist in training new hires and provide guidance on inventory management best practices
  • Monitor and maintain 5S standards in the warehouse
  • Perform material replenishments and use RF handhelds to track inventory
  • Operate powered industrial trucks and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participate in special projects and tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Forklift license required; certification and training will be provided by Topcon
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires standing for 8 hours or longer, with regular lifting up to 50lbs. and pushing, pulling, squatting, reaching, bending, carrying, lifting, and walking. Steel toe shoes/boots meeting the OSHA standard ASTM F2413-11 are required.
