Copier Repair Technician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Office Equipment Maintenance Expert to join our team at Arctic Office Products in Anchorage, AK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work with leading office equipment and provide exceptional customer service.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of copier and printer models. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with copiers, printers, and multifunction devices.
- Perform repairs, including replacing parts and making adjustments to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
- Explain repair processes and provide recommendations for proper equipment use and care.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical Support:
- Provide on-site technical support and training for customers.
- Assist with the setup and installation of new equipment.
- Update software and firmware as needed.
- Inventory and Documentation:
- Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and tools.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and service calls.
- Submit reports and documentation as required.
- Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Experience in copier/printer repair or a similar role preferred, but willing to train.
- Skills: Strong technical and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
