Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Wise Staffing Group. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the transportation, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and products to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Logistics Operations: Plan and schedule transportation routes and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Manage Inventory and Warehouse Space: Monitor inventory levels and warehouse space to optimize storage and distribution efficiency.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
- Resolve Issues and Delays: Track shipments and maintain accurate records of inventory and logistics activities, and resolve any issues or delays in transportation and delivery to minimize disruptions.
- Implement Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse and transportation operations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other departments, including production, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and support business objectives.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Logistics Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
