About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Superintendent to join our team in Cookeville, TN. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our civil projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise field labor forces, including assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the total construction effort, ensuring compliance with design, budget, quality, and schedule.
  • Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, and inspection of contractor or subcontractor operations.
  • Review and approve trade contractor payment applications, maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, and develop and maintain site logistics plans.
  • Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts, monitor costs, and communicate and enforce safety and health management programs.
  • Manage schedules, prepare and submit superintendent's daily reports, and conduct subcontractor meetings and project meetings.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of civil construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP & FP, and mission critical systems.
  • Completed commercial projects greater than $5M.
  • Efficient in MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Outlook.
