POSITION TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of six months in a similar role is preferred.
- Additional qualifications are not specified.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Eligibility for agency insurance coverage is required if operating a vehicle.
- Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate with professionalism.
- Effective relationship-building skills with colleagues and management are necessary.
- Capability to obtain and retain a security clearance relevant to the work area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work sites, restrooms, and exterior areas in accordance with company policies and contract requirements.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Support foreign military personnel as required.
- Ensure cleanliness of work sites, restrooms, and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to safe working practices and utilize updated cleaning methods.
- Comply with all safety protocols associated with job responsibilities.
- Wear and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Performing various custodial tasks as per contract obligations.
- Completing all tasks in alignment with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Executing other responsibilities as outlined in company policies and agreements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (IF APPLICABLE):
1. Spot cleaning of doors, mirrors, walls, and windows.
2. High and low dusting as required.
3. Cleaning of interior and exterior glass surfaces.
4. Wet mopping of hard floor areas and dusting of all surfaces.
5. Buffing, waxing, stripping, and resurfacing floors.
6. Collecting and disposing of trash and debris.
7. Cleaning of laundry facilities and grounds.
8. Conducting high-level cleaning in designated areas.
9. Maintaining cleanliness in common areas and break rooms.
10. Vacuuming all carpeted spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to emergency situations.
- Mobility across various surfaces and environments is required.
- Capability to retrieve items from various heights.
- Physical stamina to work a full shift is necessary.
- Ability to adapt positively to changes in routine.
- Independently follow through on assignments.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate stable work behaviors.
- Exhibit good judgment to ensure a safe working environment.
