Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the effective maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of all team members and contractors working in the plant or department by driving continuous improvement and enforcing all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintenance Planning and Budgeting: Forecast, develop, and manage the maintenance budget to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of our assets.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure that their needs are met and that all maintenance activities are completed to their satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with similar processes. 5-10 years of Mechanical and Electrical experience required. Management experience for at least 3 years over a Maintenance team.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of plant equipment, operations, predictive/preventative maintenance systems, and effective project management practices. Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery through the use of blueprints and root/cause failure analysis. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
