Job Title: Transportation Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a Transportation Security Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft. You will work closely with our team of aviation security professionals to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and secure environment for all passengers.

Responsibilities:
  • Passenger and Baggage Screening: Conduct thorough searches of passengers and their carry-on and checked baggage to ensure compliance with TSA regulations.
  • Operating Screening Equipment: Operate various screening equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, to detect and prevent prohibited items from entering onto aircraft.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship or Nationality: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Language Skills: Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Customer Service Skills: Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with passengers and colleagues.
  • Background Check: Must pass a TSA background check and financial records check.
  • Medical Evaluation: Must pass a medical evaluation, including a vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Test: Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • Competitive Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
  • Training: Receive on-the-job training and, if applicable, travel accommodations for a 2-week training session in Georgia to become a certified officer.
