Job Summary

The Product Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of firearms products. This includes research and development, design, improvement, problem-solving, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new firearms products and components
  • Conduct research and development to improve existing products and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development meets business objectives
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications and procedures
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of firearms products to ensure quality and performance
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in firearms design and development
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, including NX
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

The Product Design Engineer will work in a professional office environment, as well as laboratory and test range environments. The position requires the ability to physically and safely test, evaluate, and maintain various firearms, including pistols, rifles, and shotguns.
