Job Summary

As an Assistant Project Manager at LGE Design Build, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling project procurement, scheduling, and quality assurance, as well as coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support under the supervision of a project manager.
  • Implement assigned duties with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with project requirements.
  • Review and monitor design and construction phase documents for conformance with budget, schedule, and prime contract.
  • Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, contract purchase orders, and change order requests.
  • Monitor outstanding owner change orders and change order requests.
  • Control job cost system, information, and analysis.
  • Assist in preparing monthly project forecasts, cost reports, and construction billing forecasts.
  • Ensure all project activities and closeout efforts are executed in accordance with standards and specifications.
  • Provide other duties including project engineer and field support roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in construction management or related field.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and communicates clearly.
