Technical Lead for Payments Engineering

Ripple is seeking a seasoned technical lead to drive the evolution of our payments engineering organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining the future state architecture and engineering best practices. With a strong background in designing and developing complex distributed systems, you will contribute to large-scale projects as an architect or key individual contributor.

  • You will be responsible for defining the future state system architecture and engineering best practices.
  • As a technical leader, you will represent us in Ripple enterprise-level engineering decisions and ensure we are aligned with the overall direction.
  • You will work closely with product managers and other customer-facing functions to ensure the product engineering approach creates a frictionless and differentiating customer experience.

This is a high-visibility role with plenty of opportunities for growth and development. You will have the chance to mentor and grow engineers at all levels, contributing to the creation of intelligent systems and growing future leaders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12+ years of experience in designing and developing complex distributed systems, with a strong background in Java and experience working with private and public clouds (AWS, GCP) and capacity management principles.

We offer a competitive salary range of $248,000.00 - $278,999.00 USD per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes a comprehensive health insurance plan, a generous vacation policy, and access to professional development resources.
