Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Ambassador to join our team at Hollywood Casino Aurora. As a Security Ambassador, you will be responsible for safeguarding the assets of our casino and its guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguard assets, guests, and team members
  • Escort gaming chips, tokens, cash, and other assets to the appropriate personnel
  • Supervise the end of gaming day drop
  • Oversee the counting of tokens
  • Prepare security reports in a timely manner and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Know the procedures for both Security Control locations, i.e., Sensitive Key and Temporary - Badge Logs, Fire Alarm Panel, for Man Trap, Administrative Building, i.e., Cameras and Fire - Panel, and the Security Vehicle
  • Demonstrate and follow the emergency procedures of the Security Department
  • Assist the maintenance department in an emergency condition
  • Responsible for the proper usage of equipment, i.e. radios, handcuffs, cameras, and ID scanners
  • Responsible for Alcohol Awareness Initiative and ensures that only Guests over 21 years of age are allowed in the casino
  • Address any individual not wearing an Illinois Gaming Board Identification Badge found in non-public areas
  • Escort individuals who have an admitted gaming issue to the dockside IGB Agent
  • Report suspicious activity
  • Maintain First Aid/AED certification
  • Respond to medical emergencies and complete Illness/Injury reports
  • Promote and lead in our ACES of PENN program to external and internal guests that perpetuate Hollywood Casinos commitment towards quality guest service
Qualification Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, and commissions and apply to practical situations
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License
