We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Unit Supervisor for our Medical Surgical and Telemetry Nursing care unit. As a Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized patient-centered care, while also managing and coordinating the unit's operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement unit-specific policies and procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Assign patient beds and determine staffing needs based on patient acuity and unit capacity.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote service excellence among staff.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
- Current California Nursing license and certification in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
