Senior Estimator and Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator and Project Manager to join our team at CertaPro Painters of Ridgewood, Wayne & Hudson County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial estimation and project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with customers to discuss their specific needs and generate estimates that include all customer requirements
- Ensure that estimates contain the correct project information, including products and quantities, and incorporate any changes requested by the customer
- Closely manage projects from start to finish, including project invoicing, contract change orders, and supervising field teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees
- Act as a liaison between the client and project team, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress
- Perform site inspections and walkthroughs to identify progress and address potential issues early on
- Supervise all project staff and subcontractors, promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Update project data in all applicable documents and company computer systems without delay
- Participate in meetings, committees, and educational opportunities as requested or required
- High school diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred
- At least five years of increasingly responsible project management and estimation experience
- Supervisory and management experience
- Project Management training and/or certification a plus
- Estimator certification a plus
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Quality conscious and detail-oriented
- Safety and customer service oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task and manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active listener
- Excellent math skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Experience with project management and/or estimation software preferred
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have own vehicle
- Willing and able to work overtime and on weekends as required
