The Incline Railway Culinary Associate plays a vital role in managing sales transactions and ensuring a high standard of customer service that aligns with our core values. This position involves maintaining a tidy and organized shop environment. Under the guidance of the TN Operations Team Leader, the Culinary Associate is tasked with the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

· Provides outstanding service to both internal and external customers, reflecting the organization's mission and values.

· Exemplifies proper interaction with guests and team members consistently.

· Executes opening and closing tasks along with standard cashier responsibilities.

· Complies with company policies and procedures.

· Ensures the shop remains clean and well-organized.

· Assists with restocking supplies as necessary.

· Answers phone calls professionally, taking messages and/or orders when required.

· Prepares food items and maintains portion control when assigned to food service operations.

· Carries out additional tasks as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

· Ability to present a professional and polished image to guests.

· Proficient in reading and interpreting documents; capable of writing reports and correspondence.

· Strong computer skills are essential.

· Friendly and outgoing personality with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

· Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.

· Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing American currency.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.

· Regular use of hands and fingers is necessary, along with the ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds. Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching is required, and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential.
