Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Wound Care Physician to become part of a reputable physician-owned organization that operates within skilled nursing facilities (SNF), long-term care, and assisted living facilities (ALF). This role involves providing consultative services alongside primary care practitioners.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Manage an average patient load of 18-20 visits daily
  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Competitive base salary of $250,000, with additional bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time providers
  • Part-time opportunities available

All expenses related to credentialing will be covered.

Malpractice insurance is provided through the group policy for full-time physicians.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with a valid license in the state of practice. Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the relevant certifying board and possess a current DEA number. Applicants must apply for and maintain medical staff membership and clinical privileges at necessary facilities as stipulated in the Employment Agreement. A commitment to healthcare, empathy for patients in distress, critical listening abilities, clear communication skills, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal capabilities are essential. Candidates should be able to achieve desired business outcomes while ensuring high-quality care and be willing to continuously update their skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver medical care to the designated patient population, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of care provided. Actively engage in medical staff responsibilities and take on the role of Medical Director for a facility designated by the practice. All Medical Directorships attained by the Physician will be recognized as acquired through the Practice, and any contracts will be under the Practice's name. Participate in quality assurance, utilization management, and peer review initiatives to guarantee high-quality, cost-effective services while supporting budgetary objectives.

Collaborate with administration and staff to align with strategic and operational goals. Work together towards necessary improvements and share on-call responsibilities as outlined in the Employment Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quality metrics in the delivery of medical services. Conduct relevant administrative tasks within the clinical environment. Adhere to professional standards relevant to the medical specialty. Operate in compliance with medical staff bylaws, the regulations of the Board of Medical Examiners, and the policies and procedures of the practice.
