As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by providing high-quality patient care and supporting the surgical team.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Operating Room for cases by selecting and checking case carts and preference cards.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as needed.
  • Pass and track instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures.
  • Monitor sponges, needles, and instruments throughout the case.
  • Participate in closing counts at appropriate times.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an accredited school of surgical technology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • AST membership and required educational units.
