Position Overview:
The Registered Dietitian I is tasked with delivering exceptional medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals, or groups through thorough nutrition assessments and counseling aimed at disease management, treatment, and prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of nutritional status and provide tailored recommendations and interventions.
- Implement nutrition strategies that align with patient needs and health goals.
- Maintain required licensure as a Registered Dietitian through CDR and the State of Florida, or achieve national registration and state licensure within the designated timeframe.
- Note: Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree will be mandatory for those not initially credentialed by the specified date. Acceptable graduate degrees include a master's degree, practice doctorate, or doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, or DSc).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Master’s Degree is required if not initially credentialed by the specified date.
- Must possess RD (Registered Dietitian) credentials; refer to the summary for additional details on eligibility.
