University of Washington Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a per diem/intermittent Registered Nurse to join our research team in a variable shift position. Our medical center is located in Seattle, offering a great work-life balance and excellent compensation package.

We are seeking a highly skilled nurse with 2 years of current Med/Surg experience and a focus on research. You will have the opportunity to work in our Clinical Research Center (7S), providing care to patients in research studies funded by the National Institutes of Health. In-patients and day patients range in age from pediatric to geriatric, representing diagnoses in many areas, including disorders of the endocrine, hematologic, and immune systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and nursing diagnosis of patients
  • Care planning
  • Implementation of safe nursing care
  • Evaluation of patient responses to nursing care
  • Patient teaching
  • Patient advocacy
  • Discharge and transfer planning

Our competitive salary range for this position is $43.82 - $79.60 per hour, plus excellent benefits, including generous paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings plans.
