Job Summary:

GPAC is seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager to oversee our underground utility projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy and civil construction, specifically in asphalt paving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate all aspects of site development projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
  • Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
  • Quality Control: Review and approve work performed by subcontractors and inspect completed work.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, daily reports, and other required documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy and civil construction, with a focus on site development.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and construction techniques.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
