Position Summary:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Foster Farms TEAM. While we operate with the resources of a large organization, we maintain a family-oriented atmosphere. A significant portion of our job openings are filled through internal promotions, and we encourage our TEAM Members to explore diverse experiences across various departments.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
(An additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM; an additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently move and load turkeys.
  • Operate loader controls effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare and safety standards.
  • Set up the loader in poultry barns.
  • Connect and disconnect the loader from the crew cab.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in live poultry handling is preferred.
  • Ability to work in animal production environments.
  • Physical capability to bend, push, stoop, and lift up to 50-pound live turkeys throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with the capacity to sit in a vehicle for long durations.
  • Adherence to Bio Security and Safety Policies and Procedures is essential.
  • Must not own or have birds at residence.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
