Student Trainee

We are seeking a Student Trainee to join our manufacturing team at our Pontiac Facility. As a Student Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced manufacturing technicians in various areas, including machining, heat treat, quality, assembly, and logistics.

• Work in manufacturing for the school year, with the possibility of extending into the summer.
• Assist manufacturing technicians in one or more of the following areas: machining, heat treat, quality, assembly, and logistics.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes and safety procedures.

• Must be a high school senior attending the Livingston Area Career Center.
• Must be enrolled in a high school manufacturing program.
• Interest in a potential career in manufacturing.
• Aptitude for assembly and mechanical work.
• Ability to follow documented procedures for standard work, to perform work safely and free of defects.
• Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, ability to perform repetitive operations, ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
