Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at Job Corps - Pittsburgh. As a Phlebotomy Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Clinical Medical Assistant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to ensure students meet the program's learning objectives.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in the Clinical Medical Assistant curriculum.
  • Counsel and motivate students to achieve academic and career goals.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in phlebotomy and medical assisting.
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives fluently in English.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
