Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing the curriculum for our Phlebotomy program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Phlebotomy courses to students, including lecture and laboratory components.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Phlebotomy program, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and maintain accurate records of student performance.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide meetings and committees to contribute to the development of academic policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with advances in the field of Phlebotomy and incorporate best practices into teaching and curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Phlebotomy Instructor or equivalent experience.
  • Experience teaching Phlebotomy courses or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College.
