Job Opportunity

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Life Counselor I to join our team at our Visions residential program in Bellingham. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct services to patients in a residential setting, including group and individual counseling, milieu management, and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide culturally sensitive chemical dependency services to high-risk adolescent females
  • Conduct group and individual counseling sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise patients and provide guidance and support

Requirements:

  • AA in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field
  • At least one year of experience working with high-risk or in treatment patient care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and other medical software
