Direct Support Professional IV

As a Direct Support Professional IV, you will serve as a home supervisor, appointed by and responsible to the Unit Director. Your primary focus will be to ensure that care, treatment, training, and support activities are completed in the assigned home, including supervising and monitoring the activities of other direct support staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and evaluate direct care staff within the unit
- Perform administrative and programming duties, including supervising and monitoring activities
- Ensure efficient delivery of care, training, and support activities on the unit
- Attend meetings, serve on committees, and perform other specific tasks as directed by the Unit Director or Administrative Assistant
- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others
- Provide assistance in transporting individuals on scheduled activities and in emergency situations, as needed
- Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire date
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years' experience working in the field related to this position, including experience in a supervisory role
This position may be required to work a specific shift schedule, extended shifts, and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy. You may also be required to work in an on-call status on a rotating schedule as needed to meet operational needs of the facility.
