  • Certification and Licensure
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for specified units.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for all candidates, except for specified exceptions.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required for specified units.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) certification is required for specified units.
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred for ER.
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification is required for specified units.
    • National certification is required for various technical roles.
    • State license is preferred for Med Techs, Med Lab Techs, and Med Lab Scientists.
    • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification is required for RNs, excluding certain facilities.
    • Other certifications and competencies are required as listed in additional information.
