Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Malden, Massachusetts.
This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems for all products and instruments.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations leadership to develop and implement instrument/scope tray count sheets and tracking systems.
- Work with vendors to receive, inspect, and system-enter instrumentation, and manage instrument repair needs.
- Responsible for purchasing, shipping, and receiving functions, as well as tracking inventory using an inventory tracking system.
- Implement and manage individual instrument marking/tracking processes, and maintain instrument par levels for commonly purchased items.
- Perform various information systems and data responsibilities for CPD, including managing and troubleshooting IS hardware and software needs.
- Utilize Smartsheet and SharePoint to maintain various departmental data files, and participate in department initiatives, meetings, and projects related to data or inventory management.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- CRCST or CBSPD certification preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Must have experience utilizing a computer as a daily necessity of their employment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, data entry, and inventory management systems preferred.
