Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician PRN to join our team at American Family Care.
Responsibilities:
* Greet each patient, verify identity, and explain procedures in a kind and caring manner.
* Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
* Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
* Process images and review for proper identification and quality control.
* Ensure compliance with approved radiology techniques and company policies.
* Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment.
* Observe safety and security procedures to promote a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
* Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
* ARRT-registered preferred.
