**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Floor Care**: Dust and wet mop floors in hallways, entryways, and common areas, as well as strip, wax, and buff floors according to a scheduled cleaning routine.
  • **Equipment Maintenance**: Check equipment for proper functioning and report any defects to the supervisor. Clean equipment after each use.
  • **Resident Room Cleaning**: Assist with cleaning of residents' rooms in assigned work areas, following a scheduled cleaning routine.
  • **Quality Control**: Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, meeting the expectations of our patients and staff.

**Requirements**

  • **Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • **Leadership**: Demonstrate good leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • **Patience and Tact**: Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled.
  • **Language**: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • **Age**: Must be at least 18 years of age.
