Job Summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Sr. Technician to join our Lincoln, NE organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and apparatus for the generation, transmission, and control of electric power.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the design, manufacture, installation, and/or maintenance of electrical systems and apparatus, including electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring, and power systems/devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, installation instructions, and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve electrical system issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical systems and technologies.
Requirements
  • 2-year technical degree in Electro-Mechanical or equivalent certification.
  • 0 to 2 years of work experience (internship acceptable).
  • Combination of equivalent education and experience acceptable.
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting, including a working knowledge of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems.
