Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Penn State Health Medical Group in Reading, PA. As an LPN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. Your expertise will be essential in observing, reporting, and recording medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
  • Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
  • Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
