Job Summary

The Production Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of food products that meet quality and safety standards. This role involves working on the production line, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to processing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment
  • Maintain and demonstrate a thoughtful understanding of processing specifications for varying products and materials
  • Inspect and remove defective product from the production and packaging line
  • Perform sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment
  • Identify and setup correct raw materials, recipes and utensils associated with each product
  • Complete exact measurements per recipe to ensure gold standard is met
  • Operate multiple electric kettles, simultaneously
  • Remove popped corn from kettles and dispense into bins
  • Assemble corrugate items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished product to match specification
  • Operate pallet jack and electric pallet wrapper
Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell with reasonable accommodation
  • Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
